·         Analyze motions, legal documents and applicable laws to
      make recommendation to District Judges relating to pending
      legal matters on a wide variety of legal issues.

·         Draft legal documents for judge’s review and execution.
      Represent judges on appellate matters including preparing
      briefs and other pleadings.

·        Negotiate with lawyers and litigants to reach settlement
      prior to court appearance. 

·         Correspond with lawyers and litigants as to local procedures
      and current state of the law.  Advise litigants and lawyers of
      potential and actual violations of local rules, rules of
      evidence, rules of procedure and/or incorrect application of
      the law as required.

·         Review contracts and other legal documents as requested by
      the Judges.  Interact with the media on various issues as
