Richard Orsinger Earns High Marks in 2010 Texas Super Lawyers List

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Family law attorney Richard Orsinger, head of the San Antonio office of McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P., has been named to the Texas Super Lawyers list for an eighth consecutive year, including special recognition for earning the third-highest number of votes among all Texas attorneys. 

This marks the second consecutive year that Mr. Orsinger has been named one of the Top 10 attorneys in the state. He also has earned special recognition as one of the state’s Top 100 lawyers each year since the Texas Super Lawyers list was first published in 2003, in addition to being named one of the Top 50 attorneys in Central and South Texas since 2004.

Fewer than 5 percent of the state’s lawyers are included in the Texas Super Lawyers list, which is published in the October 2010 issue of Texas Monthly magazine and Texas Super Lawyers magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Thomson Reuters, Legal Division. The list is compiled through a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and a good-standing and disciplinary check.
